Surgical Orthodontics
Cross bite is when the upper teeth fit behind the lower teeth. This patient needed surgical correction of anterior and posterior crossbites, and she loves her new smile!
Spacing
Gaps between teeth can appear unesthetic and trap food. This adult patient was thrilled to see the spaces closed in just a few months.
Severe Crowding
This patient did not have enough room for all the teeth. After extractions and 24 months of braces, he cannot stop grinning!
Impacted Canine
The canines have the longest roots and can occasionally fail to erupt. This example shows the result after aligning the upper right canine
Deep Bite
When the upper teeth cover the lower teeth excessively, it can lead to tooth wear, recession etc. In this instance, the bite was opened to allow the lower teeth to clear the uppers and create that Hollywood smile!
Anterior Crossbite
The crowding and crossbites caused the patient to keep shifting her jaw. Both the crowding and cross bite were corrected after 26 months of treatment.
Posterior Crossbite
After expansion of the upper jaw and extractions, this patient now has a beautiful and broad smile!
Crowding and Deep Bite
Before and after correction of anterior crossbite of the upper lateral incisors
Canine Substitution
The canines have been reshaped and moved to fix the crowding and improve the smile.
